How we verify every car
No car goes on GaariHaat until our own team has checked it at the Tejgaon showroom. This is exactly what they check, who does it, and what each check proves to you.

Checks 1, 2 and 3: papers, chassis and engine numbers, and the auction sheet. On brand new cars, the importer papers and VIN.
The six checks, in order

Brand new cars have no history, so they get three checks instead: importer papers, VIN and engine number, and zero km with factory condition.
If the car is not what the page says
Your 5% advance is refundable for 7 days, for any reason. The money goes back to the same card or bank account within 3 days. You do not have to explain why.
Inside 7 days: all of it back
Cancel from My bookings any time before the date on your slip. The full 5% goes back to the card or bank account you paid from, within 3 days.
Numbers do not match: all of it back
If the chassis or engine number on the car is not the one on your slip, do not pay the rest. Your advance is refunded in full, even after day 7.
After 7 days, the hold ends
If you have not bought the car by the date on your slip, the hold ends and the car goes back on the list for other buyers. Visit before then, or cancel for a full refund.
